Mother's Day at Huntsville State Park 5.9.10

For Mother's Day Stephen took us to Huntsville State Park.  We packed up some PBJ's for lunch, and everything for shish-k-bobs for supper (but I forgot the skewers-oh well).  We played at the playground, took a walk, watched some people get baptized in the lake and had a delicious supper that Stephen cooked for us.  It was the best day!  So relaxing, peaceful and fun!  Thank you Stephen for surprising me and making my day so special.

The man who was baptizing came over and was talking with Stephen after they were finished.  It was such a blessing to witness the baptisms.  We were standing to the side watching on the bank of the lake as all their friends and family were singing praises to the Lord (they were Hispanic, so we couldn't tell what they were saying, but we recognized some of the tunes).  When they were through they gathered together in a circle and prayed.  They included us in the circle and prayed a prayer of blessing over us (the man spoke English then for us so we could understand).  It was such an encouragement and blessing.
