Martin turned 5 this year! It is hard to believe our oldest is that old already. He is such a joy to our family. He has a sensitive spirit with an inner desire to defeat the enemy and choose to have Jesus win (in his actions and motives)! He is such a leader and is like his Papa in that he is very passionate about whatever he is doing. He loves to do whatever Stephen is doing, and when Papa is gone to work, Martin is "man of the house" and when reminded takes his responsibility very seriously. We actually celebrated his birthday a few different days this year as Stephen was at work on the 13th. Here are some pictures of what we did...
Martin and his birthday balloon.
We went over to the Seiters for a swimming party. Stephen and I got him a snorkel set for his present and we knew that he would want to try it out ASAP, so we asked the Seiters if we could come over and swim. They were so gracious and even had homemade pizza for supper all ready for us. Thank you Seiters!!
Martin jumped in the pool and was a natural at using the snorkel gear. I was impressed and excited to see how well it fit him and how he just knew what to do.
Our children are fearless when it comes to water. They enjoyed Stephen throwing them in backwards into the pool. Here is Elaina...
and Millie. Bella didn't want to do it, but she enjoyed watching.
We had a great time!!
