Well, the day finally came. We got to the hospital on June 13th around 4:00 pm after several hours of labor off and on from the week prior, and at least 12 hours of strong contractions that day. We got checked in, and had the baby by 8:56 that evening. Everything went well. The only thing, was that we weren't for sure about a name for whoever was born. We had possibilities for either boy or girl, but wanted to wait to see who it was before we decided...and it took a little longer than we expected. After much prayer and searching, the Lord gave us the name James Wyatt Herzog. James means Truthful and Wyatt means God's Soldier. We like the name very much and are grateful for the Lord's direction.
Here are a few pictures of our hospital visit...our visitors, family, and our new little man, James Wyatt Herzog. He weighed 8lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. It is neat to see all of his siblings features in him at different times.
On our way to the hospital.
Mo & Pawpaw brought the kids up to visit later on that afternoon.
We had a good number of visitors come by...Nate and Rhea Traylor, Kevin, Granny and Papa Troy...
...Ryan, Katherine and Mick, Uncle Richard and Aunt Pam.
Stephen brought the 3 big kids in first to take a look at their new brother.
Then everyone else got a chance to come see to.
There is my sweet family!!
The kids really enjoyed watching everything and couldn't get close enough to see what was going on.
Papa and his new son.
Proud Papa and Mama with little James Wyatt.
Our precious new little man
