Kids and Cows 8-20-09

For breakfast Martin decided we would have oatmeal to eat. He was "helping" and "accidentally" dumped over half the oats on the ground. Standing beside him is his partner in crime...Meesa (Martin rarely calls her Millie. It is usually Meesa or Mees)
They knew I was disappointed, but I couldn't keep a straight face with Martin in those silly glasses. I couldn't help but laugh.
Bella quickly came to the rescue and vacuumed them all up. She just loves to help.
Later that morning, we moved the cows into a little pasture by our house where our garden used to be. They ate it down a good bit, but didn't care for the Bahia grass.
One of Stephen's favorite things to do is watch the cows eat. Especially when they have just moved into a new paddock. His heart feels so good when there is plenty of good grass and nice clean water for them.
He looked so beautiful to me, just enjoying God's creation and marveling at His awesomeness. He is kneeling under the live oak that Mr. Billy Heintz planted for us after our wedding as a wedding present over 5 years ago.
James and I came to enjoy the moment with him while all the others were down for a nap.

Oh, I remember those "Helping" days. Did you every get oats that morning to eat? Satisfaction from both you and Stephen. Watching your "family" eat heartily as unto the Lord. Love, mamageese
