Raising children is so much fun...and so much work! Stephen and I just love being parents. We try to include the kids in everything we do, (we really can't help it- they are always with us:) teaching them along the way. They can be such good helpers, although I wonder sometimes if it wouldn't be easier if we just did our chores by ourselves without all the "help". No, we want to teach them how we do things, why we do them, the right way to do them, and try to let them have the opportunity to do it themselves. It does take longer and a lot of times is more challenging, but in the long run it will pay off. Just think...in another 5 years (then they will be ages 9,8,7,6,5) we will be running like a well oiled machine.
After grocery shopping one morning with James, everyone greeted me outside and was ready to unload the month's worth of groceries. Papa has a tower of diapers, wipes, and Tide.
Bella and the bananas.
Millie and the sugar. She liked the tower idea like Stephen.
Millie and Martin picking up posts for Papa as he moves the fence.
Martin has to have fun with everything he does and loves being on the edge. He doesn't just lay the post in the back of the truck, he tosses it 5 feet in the air just to see where it will land and what kind of a flip it will have as it goes down.
There is Millie, not wanting to take such a risk, and just laying hers down gently.
Bella, with a mission on her mind, and Elaina just as happy go lucky as always.
James usually helps me out by always having a smile for me. He brightens my day all the time.
