Here we are at Wal-Mart getting ready for the Harvest Fest. We actually just checked out (the first time) with 2 buggies, and Stephen treated the kids to a horse ride.
Stephen was so sweet, and wore James the whole time for me. After we got through with 2 buggies, it was lunch time and nap time. After we got the kids settled down for naps in the camper, I went back in for round 2 and got 2 more buggies for our monthly grocery list. It was a FULL day to say the least.
Here is some banana bread I made the other day. It turned out pretty well!
Martin has enjoyed watching "Rooster J Cogburn" lately. That is a John Wayne movie and he just loves John Wayne. He wears a patch in that movie, and I actually had one for Martin to wear. He was so proud. Millie is all dressed up in her purple dress-up clothes and lovely un-matching bows. She likes to play pretend and dress up too.
I made some curtains for the bathroom upstairs just before the harvest fest, and James was my little helper. I think Mo and Pawpaw had the big 4, so James and I got some good work done that morning. I had a nice little card table set up in the utility room for my sewing machine. It was perfect. You can see the pretty new cabinets in the background. I just love them!
