Apparently, I didn't take many pictures in January...I am just going to post them in one long post...here goes....
We went over to Mr. Master's parents house to visit Sarah and Josh and the Masters. We have heard so much about their beautiful home and lovely place. It does meet up with all the wonderful comments we have heard. We went on a ride into the woods on their Gator and Martin got to drive!!
All of us girls sat in the back.
It was so much fun playing in the woods, and exploring. The kids just loved it. Even though it was only 40 or so acres, it felt huge and un-ending.
Bella and her Mo.
Pawpaw and Millie
James and me. I was borrowing Sarah's ERGO. It was really nice.
We played card games, and it looks like Millie was the score keeper...no, not really, she was just writing her name (which really is just a whole bunch of scribbles...but to her it is her name.)
Stephen came in from outside and grabbed a snack.
They had a nice little fire outside and Mr. Masters cooked a pot of beans on it. They were really good. It kept Stephen and kids outside a bunch, as they enjoyed the fire.
Towards the middle of the month, we had a spur of the moment party. Stephen found a sale on pre seasoned chicken, and bought enough for 5o people. He called everyone on a Monday afternoon, and by Tuesday evening, we actually had close to 50 people show up. It was lots of fun and we had a great turn out. This is Stephen's cousin, Randy, with his new baby son, RJ (Randy Jr.)
Mrs. Krolczyk, a Lyon boy who's name escapes me, and Grannie Smith.
Aunt Pam, Grandma Herzog and Aunt Marilyn found themselves a place to sit on our back porch and eat their supper.
Mr. Krolczyk was the official cooker. He was a huge help and the meat turned out great!! Thank you Mr. Krolczyk.
Here are the Burow men, Keith and Jacob's special friend, Allison.
2 little ones sitting at the picnic table.
Keith brought some fireworks. The little ones had a blast with the sparklers. This is Millie.
This is Bella, but I couldn't get the camera to focus, so she's a tad blurry.
Keith had lots of helpers lighting the fireworks.
Here is James down at the Herzog's. He found the potato drawer, and pulled it out onto himself, but wasn't to concerned.
One morning Stephen took us all fishing at 2 of the ponds here at the farm. Martin especially had a good time, and patiently watched the bobber, but never caught anything.
Our sweet girls.
James stayed in the truck. I forgot to bring him a jacket, and it was cool and drizzly outside, so he played in the truck.
One evening as the sun was setting, a storm was blowing in. We got tons of pictures of the gorgeous sky...here is one.
Keith and Kevin went to Switzerland to go skiing. Stephen enjoyed moving their trucks around every few days (they left them parked at the farm while they were gone). One evening, we all hopped in Keith's truck and went to visit Mo and Pawpaw.
These next few pictures of us at the park are actually on my birthday. Stephen took us out on a family date and we went to the Shogun Grill for lunch. I just love their food! We had quite a feast, and the kids seemed to enjoy watching the chef cook right there in front of us. After lunch we went to the park. Here is Papa holding James.
Martin found a new way to slide down the slide.
Millie sliding down the pole.
Elaina venturing up the little plastic rock wall.
Bella sitting down in a little handle area.
Martin and Millie trying to light the kindling for the fire. They used up almost a whole little box of matches....then Papa came to the rescue and got her going.
Here they are getting the tractor ready to put out hay for the cows. They are filling it up with some more diesel.
Elaina and James cuddled up together...so cute! Elaina is really quite good with James. She loves to be his little mother, and takes such good care of him.
We have been going to some political meetings lately for Judge John Devine. He is running for Judge here in Montgomery County. It has been so enjoyable getting to know him personally. Here he is with Martin. They are praying at the close of a meeting Mr. & Mrs. Herzog hosted at the community center in Montgomery.
Here is Judge Devine with our family. Going to some of these meetings has really helped us get to know the candidates better, talk with them one on one, and know their standards. It has been very helpful and enlightening.

Christina! What a delightful surprise to hear from you! Thank you so much for leaving that comment on our blog. We so enjoyed seeing all the pictures of your sweet family! The time has just flown since we heard of your wedding... the Lord bless you all!!
Christina! :) Thanks for replying! Your kids are so cute, I would love to see y'all sometime! I am here in Austin so if y'all are ever here please let me know. I have been blessed to be able to live here for pretty cheap. I have about a year left of college here at UT and then I will be able to move back to Houston. My major is Human Development and Family Science. I want to work with children in hospitals (it is called Child Life Therapy).
Loved all these pix. What fun at your BBQ, and your birthday lunch/picnic. I loved the pix of your whole family in the truck! also loved the one of the little girls by the water. I hope they will be just as good buddies as you and your sisters were. Love, mom
