The kids were given a remote control truck by some extended family down the road. We charged the battery, got a new 9 volt for the remote and off they went. They had a blast!
Elaina wasn't interested in playing with the truck, so she and Papa had some special moments playing together on the front porch while watching the others play.
A little while later, James, Stephen and I all went to go move Mable and Amos Duncan into a new paddock and watch them graze. We have been so excited lately because they absolutely love the weeds. That is great news, because we have plenty, and according to some studies about weeds, they are actually good for cows and have good protein.
This is a picture of a bird as it was flying and trying to grab something off the leaf. It is not a hummingbird, just one of the beautiful little winter birds that show up every year.
